Showcase Stables, Inc. was established in 1983.  The owners/trainers Michael and Ann Slomkowski have received numerous awards along with National and World Recognition as trainers, showmen, instructors and judges.  It is their deep love for the horses and the horse industry that explains the enthusiasm and success of Showcase Stables, Inc

Krystin Sponsler
Senior instructor

Krystin has been riding at Showcase Stables since she was 8 years old.  Now an Elementary school teacher, Krystin keeps her love of horses fed by joining the Showcase team of instructors.  Krystin takes her instructors position very seriously here and has risen to the occasion.  Several of her students have excelled and gone on to be extremely competitive on the "A" circuit.  We are so proud of Krystin as she is a direct product of our teaching philosophy and yet she is able to bring her own knowledge to her students.

Teresa Wood
Senior instructor

Teresa has been riding since she was 10 years old.  She has competed in hunt seat, jumping, and western disciplines. Teresa holds two bachelors degrees from the University of Findlay, in Findlay Ohio. One is in Equestrian Studies,  the other is in Equine Business Management.  As if that wasn't enough Teresa also has a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Helidelberg College in Tiffin Ohio.  Teresa began teaching riding lessons in 1999, in Colorado, then continued in Ohio, and now in  Michigan. 
Showcase Stables was fortunate enough to add Teresa to our staff  in February, 2009.
